Fresh Fonts Newsletter 81 Guest Curation

In December 2021, Fresh Fonts curator Noemi Stauffer invited me to guest curate her monthly Newsletter 81. This monthly issue does not only include great new releases such as Neptun by La Bolde Vita designed by Fabian Dornhecker, which is available to all Fresh Fonts subscribers with a commercial license, and Didot Modern by Nouvelle Noire designed by Arnaud Chemin, but it also contains my picks for the Fresh Releases section, Publish Gothic by Playtype, designer of which is Jonas Hecksher, Osbourne by Latinotype, A2Z Faucet by Daniel Schriër, Bartok by 205TF designed by Sarah Kremer and Ephidona by Bagerich Type.

Another fantastic addition to the Newsletter is the one and only BurnType’s Brik typeface. Brik is now available for purchase on The Designers Foundry website, including 20 different styles and a variable font. We also mentioned Clinker, the excellent collaboration between the talented Mickaël Emile and Nicolas Pauthier, and the new "Wax" style added to Matteo Bettini’s Hidde Grotesk. Hidde Grotesk is available to buy on Primary Foundry’s website. Our last additions to this month’s issue are the type specimen for Daniel Schriër's A2Z Faucet, printed-on-demand on vellum paper, and a line of unique designs of T-shirts by W Type Foundry.
